In short, I consider myself a therapist with a coaching lens. I offer coaching and counseling services. I am flexible in understanding and relating to diverse views, beliefs, and perspectives. Of most importance is my relationship with the client; thus, I am here to work in harmony with the client’s personal experience. Below are the details of my education and training.
I earned my Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University in 2001 and I have been in clinical social work since that time. I am licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners, License #9655 since 2007. I was previously licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners from 2001-2011, License #36464.
In January of 2019, I completed a 14 month Effective Leadership and Coaching Course through the Newfield Institute of Australia, hosted by Education For Living Seminars, in Baton Rouge, LA. It is an Accredited Coach Training Program with the International Coaching Federation. Further, I have attended personal development workshops on coaching for many years and completed continuing education hours on coaching methods.
